    Why the Machine?

It’s a nickname that was first given to me in college and subsequently at my first agency job. I figured, if it was that appropriate, I should be using it myself. “The machine” is more than a name to me. It’s how I work. It’s the ability to produce quality design on deadline and within budget. To handle multiple assignments. To manage both employees and customers. At the end of the day, there’s more to being a good designer than simply being creative.
